About the Procedure
Belkyra will be administering a series of injections into the area under your chin at each treatment sessions. Typically, will take 15 – 20 minutes for each treatment. The practitioner will first begin to mark down the areas for injection and during this treatment, some may experience a slight ting with the injections, otherwise, the treatment is nearly painless and comfortable. Patients can choose to take over-the-counter pain reliever to make the treatment more comfortable. Depending on everyone’s unique conditions, 2–4 treatments are recommended, some may need 6 treatments to reach their desired results.
For most patients, downtime is minimal and occur more commonly after the first treatments. Like other injection treatments, patients may experience swelling, bruising, slight pain and numbness around the treatment area. However, please rest assure that the side effects will fade away very quickly.
