Your Belkyra treatment begins with a thorough consultation where our consultation and injector will first assess and precisely identify the area to be treated. Before treatment begins, the skin under your chin is cleaned, and a temporary grid of colored dots is often applied to the skin. This careful mapping ensures the injection Belkyra is perfectly placed and targets the specific fat area for reduction.
The topical numbing cream might applied to the treatment area to miximize comfort. By using a very small needle, the Belkyra is injected in a systematic and precise fashion directly into the fat pocket. The injections work by dissolving the fat cells.
The overall treatment takes only 15 – 30 minutes. You will feel the sensation of the injections themselves, but you can go back to your normal activities immediately afterward. Usually two to three treatments are required, depending on the amount of fat in the area.
